psychotherapist

in Brooklyn, NY

In my practice, I provide a supportive space to explore my patients’ concerns and work towards healing. I treat people experiencing anxiety and depression, struggling with self-doubt, yearning to deepen their connections in relationships, or navigating a life transition. I work with individuals, couples, and groups.

I am not here to tell you what to do, but rather help you see your behaviors, goals, and self with more clarity. My work is to provide the tools to help you recognize and break loose from unhelpful patterns and create a rich, fulfilling, and balanced life.

It takes courage to seek therapy—reaching out is a sign that one is ready for change. If you are ready to take that next step, we can begin.

Approach

I center warmth, candor, and creativity in my approach. My practice pulls from somatic therapies, mindfulness, internal family systems, and psychoanalysis.

Therapy is a collaborative process and therefore unique to each individual, couple, or family. In our work together, we will focus on building a deeper understanding of your experiences, exploring underlying patterns, and creating practical solutions to move forward.

About

Prior to completing my Masters in Clinical Social Work at New York University, I earned my bachelor’s degree from Stanford University in Political Science. I completed my practicums in trauma-focused work, counseling incarcerated individuals and survivors of domestic violence. Currently, I provide psychotherapy services to patients and families at Mount Sinai Pediatric Hematology as they navigate the impact of chronic illness. In addition to my clinical work, I worked in the arts industry and have a creative practice as a musician.

To Begin

We’ll schedule a brief call to assess for fit. Should we decide to work together, we’ll find a time to meet for our first session. In-person sessions are preferred, however, I do offer remote sessions as needed or on an ongoing basis. I work on a sliding scale and am an out of network provider.
