psychotherapist
in New York
In my practice, I provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can explore what's on your mind and work towards healing. I help people cope with anxiety, depression, loss, trauma, relationship challenges, and self-esteem issues.
I have experience and a strong passion for supporting survivors of sexual assault or abusive relationships, as well as those struggling with disordered eating or body image issues. I come from an arts background and love working with creatives or those seeking to reconnect with their artistry and self-expression.
I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and groups. If my approach resonates with you, I invite you to reach out and we can explore if we are a good fit.
Approach
I center warmth, candor, and creativity in my approach. My practice pulls from psychodynamic therapy, internal family systems (IFS), and trauma-informed practices.
Therapy is a collaborative process and therefore unique to each individual, couple, or family. In our work together, we will focus on building a deeper understanding of your experiences, exploring underlying patterns, and creating practical solutions to move forward.
About
Prior to completing my Masters in Clinical Social Work at New York University, I earned my bachelor’s degree from Stanford University in Political Science. I completed my practicums in trauma-focused work and also provide psychotherapy services to patients and families at Mount Sinai Hospital. In addition to my clinical work, I worked in the arts industry and have a creative practice as a musician.
To Begin
We’ll schedule a brief call to assess for fit. Should we decide to work together, we’ll find a time to meet for our first session. I offer both remote and in-person sessions. I am an out of network provider and can provide materials for insurance reimbursement.
